These naturally gluten-free shortbreads are made from buckwheat flour obtained from husked seeds which gives them a subtle taste and a texture that is both crisp and melting.
THE SARRASIN, WHAT IS IT?
Contrary to popular belief, buckwheat is not a cereal but a flowering plant, which is why its seed does not contain gluten.
It is a plant of the polygonaceae family (and yes its seeds are in the form of polygon), economical in natural resources and full of nutritional qualities.
Buckwheat flour 60%, red sugar cane, non-hydrogenated palm oil, eggs, salt, natural lemon flavor, sodium bicarbonate, cream of tartar.
All ingredients are organic.
